2019 couldn’t really have started much brighter as we learned from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) that they awarded Know You More with their 2018 International Award for Coaching.

In April, we travelled to Dublin to receive the award at the 25th EMCC International Mentoring, Coaching and Supervision Conference. It was held at the Conference Centre at Spencer Dock, an amazing waterside venue surrounded by the European headquarters of many of the global technology giants.

It was a great opportunity to meet up with many of the coaches in our network and make new friends amongst the warm coaching community. ‘Technology’ was a consistent theme throughout the conference. Fascinating sessions on what digital may hold. Many of the conference sponsors, like Know You More, are using innovative methods to deliver coaching within organisations and we enjoyed learning about their models and plans for the future.

Recognition at any level brings about celebration but this one is particularly special. With over 5000 members, the EMCC is a leading body in coaching, mentoring and supervision. Their vision is to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice in mentoring, coaching, and supervision globally for the benefit of society. They have also been central to the development and creation of the Global Code of Ethics within the coaching industry. The EMCC helped us celebrate in some style. A fantastic evening of food and entertainment enjoyed with a truly inspiring community from all over Europe.

We are incredibly honoured to be recognised by the EMCC and excited to receive their 2018 International award for coaching. Know You More is powered by an incredible community of coaches and we always like to thank them first for their continued support and excellence. Our vision was to create a flourishing community where coaches could grow in their professional practice and gain experience from working with a diverse range of people and groups.

We’re utilising technology to bring the highest quality of coaching practice into the digital age. To make the power of professionally qualified coaching accessible to everyone in the workplace and beyond through our social mission of giving young adults from all backgrounds the skills and confidence to make their impact in the World. We continue to be delighted with the high satisfaction rate (89%) across all of those that have experienced coaching through our service.

Receiving this award from the EMCC is a very significant achievement for everyone connected with Know You More.
